  • Surface Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces, including signs, guardrails, fence, potholes, adding or replacing reflectors, and shouldering.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate vehicles and equipment as required for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair, repair/maintenance of slopes, berms, culverts, drains, etc., to control vegetation appearance and growth.
  • Snow and Ice Removal: Remove snow and ice using snow removal and/or sanding equipment.
  • Traffic Control: Set up and remove traffic control devices as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years related work experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industrial repair, maintenance, or highway infrastructure (preferred)
