💻 Primary Responsibilities
🌐 Technical Operations & Monitoring
- Coordinate and execute all technical aspects of live transmissions, including service check-in, configuration validation, active monitoring oversight, and check-out procedures.
- Perform continuous, expert-level monitoring and proactive management across network, video, and system domains daily.
- Network: Monitor the Cingularity core network (NetInsight Nimbra DTM & Arista IP) and edge devices using various monitoring systems. Configure, monitor, and perform first and second line troubleshooting on IP transport streams and underlying network routing/switching.
- Video: Monitor client video service quality using Multiviewers and specialised probes. Perform daily configuration, operation, and first and second line troubleshooting of core video encoding platforms.
- Systems: Monitor health and performance of underlying servers and operating systems using Zabbix and Grafana. Respond to system-level alerts and perform initial troubleshooting.
- Provide direct customer support via phone, email, and talkback, address service issues and other inquiries, and collaborate with partners and suppliers as needed.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact service delivery.
- Complete the provisioning of new services, including occasional use services.
🛠 Incident Management & Resolution
- Resolve service issues impacting the client contract, working from initial investigation to final resolution across network, video, and system domains, minimising service impact.
- Log, analyse, and act upon all incidents promptly, producing detailed incident reports and root cause analyses for the client according to agreed procedures.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews, identifying root causes and documenting lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence.
- Assist in developing and improving incident management and disaster recovery plans relevant to the contract.

- Contribute to reviewing, refining, and documenting TOC workflows, processes, and procedures, especially those relating to the specific technologies used for the client.
