🚀 Role Summary

- Provides troubleshooting of incidents and problems, including developing work-arounds to return services to functioning status.
- Sustains the transmission or communication path between geographically separated users and devices.
- Plans, designs, installs, maintains, troubleshoots, resolves problems, and performs network asset management of Cisco switches and routers; Brocade switches and routers; Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls; Cisco firewalls; proxy servers; Intrusion Protections Systems (IPSs); and encryption devices.
- Configures VPN tunnels on Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper devices and configures TACLANES.
- Maintains COMSEC account(s) in support of the installation of encryption keys.
- Provides systems engineering planning and support for Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Provides migration and transition support to implement approved engineered solutions.
- May assess and evaluate emerging policies and technology and make recommendations for network and system updates that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, availability, and security posture.
