🚀 Role Summary

• Design, build, and activate advanced manufacturing facilities with low and high-power electrical systems.

💻 Primary Responsibilities

• Electrical System Design and Installation:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and install electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers, lighting, ground support systems, UPS units, standby generators, and automatic transfer switches.
  • Collaborate with local electrical utilities personnel to coordinate installations and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all electrical systems interface properly with other mechanical and electrical systems, including compatibility with facility power budgets.

• Electrical System Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  • Provide technical support to facility technicians to troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and controllers.
  • Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems and electrical equipment evaluation.
  • Ensure building and facility equipment grounding and power monitoring hardware and software are functioning properly.

• Code Review and Compliance:

  • Conduct code reviews and analyses utilizing NFPA 70E, NFPA 70 NEC, NFPA 497, NFPA 101, Vol 5 & 6 AFSPCMAN 91-710, and IBC to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and/or generators.
• Preferred: 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
• Ability to read and understand highly technical equipment operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
• Experience with controls in MODBUS communication.
• Experience with medium-voltage distribution.
• Experience with control panel design and production.
• Working knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

💵 Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:

• Electrical/Level I: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
• Electrical/Level II: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
