🚀 Role Summary
- Design, build, and activate advanced manufacturing facilities with low and high-power electrical systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and trade partners to ensure electrical systems meet project goals and regulatory standards.
- Provide engineering support for the design, operation, and troubleshooting of all facility's electrical components and systems.

💻 Primary Responsibilities

Electrical System Design and Installation:
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and install electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers, lighting, ground support systems, UPS units, standby generators, and automatic transfer switches.
- Collaborate with local electrical utilities personnel to coordinate installations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all electrical systems interface properly with other mechanical and electrical systems, including compatibility with facility power budgets.

Electrical System Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support to facility technicians to troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems and electrical equipment evaluation.
- Ensure building and facility equipment grounding and power monitoring hardware and software are functioning properly.

Code Review and Compliance:
- Conduct code reviews and analyses utilizing NFPA 70E, NFPA 70 NEC, NFPA 497, NFPA 101, Vol 5 & 6 AFSPCMAN 91-710, and IBC to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
🎓 Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and/or generators.
- Preferred: 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Ability to read and understand highly technical equipment operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Experience with controls in MODBUS communication.
- Experience with medium-voltage distribution.
- Experience with control panel design and production.
- Working knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Physical ability to perform hands-on work in various environments, including heat, cold, rain, and tight quarters.

💵 Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
- Electrical/Level I: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
- Electrical/Level II: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
