    • Deliver first-time fixes and same-day solutions to customer and environmental problems

💻 Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer and Environmental Problem Resolution:

    • Deliver first-time fixes and same-day solutions to customer and environmental problems
    • Thoroughly investigate and resolve issues to prevent repeat customer contacts
    • Support other operational teams with investigations into sewer asset problems
  • Sewerage Network Maintenance:

    • Proactively and reactively maintain the sewerage network to prevent sewage escapes and pollution
    • Ensure no repeats occur by implementing solutions and preventive measures
    • Collaborate with other Yorkshire Water teams and contracted partners to resolve operational issues
  • Vehicle Operation and Flexible Working:

    • Operate different vehicles to complete work, dependent on availability and task requirements
    • Work flexible rotas, including a 4 on 4 off basis and out-of-hours standby after full training
  • Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure Health and Safety working practices and procedures are always complied with
    • Demonstrate financial awareness and promote cost-effective resolution methods
    • Report unsafe working practices to management and influence outcomes through decision-making
