💻 Primary Responsibilities

  • 🚨 Network Operations Supervision:

    • Manage teams on-site, including ISU/ERT and Recovery operatives.
    • Carry out litter surveys, gate stops, and safety tours.
    • Supervise planned and reactive works, ensuring they are completed efficiently and on time.
    • Update the Maintenance Management System and manage resources.
    • Support the development and implementation of RAMS and procedures.
    • Prepare and deliver daily work briefings and end-of-shift debriefs.
    • Support the use of data devices and routine vehicle checks.
    • Raise SCI's as required and attend incidents as Bronze Command.
    • Participate in the Winter Service rota and stand in for the Depot Manager as required.

    • Drive Zero Harm objectives and ensure all activities meet safety standards.
    • Raise awareness of issues that may affect the safe operation of the network.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

Education: Relevant experience in highways maintenance operations or similar transferable experience.

Experience: Proven team leadership and management experience driving performance and productivity.

  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer-focused mindset
  • UK Driver's License

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in incident management and incident support
  • Knowledge of the M25 network and its operations
