🚀 Role Summary
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts at EquipmentShare's rental facility in Odenton, MD.
- Utilize technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure equipment is in optimal condition for rentals and customer use.

💻 Primary Responsibilities
- Safety and Maintenance: Practice safe job practices, maintain equipment in optimal condition, and perform regular inspections.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various rental and customer equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis.
- Training: Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
- Pick-up and Delivery: Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as required.
- Field Service: Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment when required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
🎓 Skills & Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Must own tools applicable to the position.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Field Technicians may be required to be clean-shaven to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.

Salary Range
- $18 - $43 per hour. Factors including past experience and location may affect the final compensation rate.
