💻 Primary Responsibilities

Data Collection & Meter Reading:
- Review service orders to determine locations where meter readings need to be performed.
- Read water meters and enter data in route logs.
- Inspect meters and connections to determine defects, faults, and damages.

Maintenance & Repairs:
- Repair and/or replace broken water mains and service lines.
- Assist with the maintenance and repairs of water/wastewater systems.
- Communicate problems with meters or incorrect readings to the Project Manager.

Utility Services:
- Operate a company vehicle to conduct meter readings for assigned routes.
- Connect and disconnect utility services as directed.

Landscape Maintenance:
- Perform general landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning, and other typical landscape maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all data in the utility log book is maintained correctly and kept updated.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in the water/wastewater, public works, maintenance, or servicing industry (preferred)
Required Skills:
- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records
- Ability and willingness to work independently
- Ability to understand water systems and concepts
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform sustained physical labor, including heavy lifting and working above your head and below your feet
- Neat and clean appearance, courteous and friendly with the general public, and willing to be a part of a team
- Must be available to work overtime and 'on-call' as needed
