๐Ÿ”ง Systems Management & Maintenance

  • Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems, including electrical, mechanical, communications, building monitoring, and control systems.
  • Track and trend operational characteristics, and analyze existing operating conditions to recommend new technologies and improve overall efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Manage systems to avoid unplanned, customer-impacting outages and ensure data center operates at maximum operational efficiency.
  • Manage the data floor and back of house mechanical loading capacity, ensuring the cooling system operates at its highest efficiency.

  • Complete infrastructure projects, such as cage build-outs, overhead installations, and rack and stack.
  • Navigate and utilize a CMMS system for trouble ticket management and work order completion processes.
  • Assist in asset and consumable inventory management, and ensure proper labeling of all equipment per established procedures.
  • Ensure processes are completed in a timely manner pertaining to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and data is uploaded to the OSS accordingly.

  • Provide physical security within the CoreSite premises and provide day-to-day exceptional customer service and support.
  • Monitor the building fire alarm system and maintain and complete regular facility and security tours, documenting and responding to found issues.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent time in rate.
