💻 Primary Responsibilities

  • 🔧 System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Review and update maintenance procedures (MOPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and safety. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power and cooling systems, electrical infrastructure, and other critical facilities.
  • 🔄 Change Management: Create and implement Oracle change management requests, ensuring minimal business impact and maximum system availability.
  • 🌡️ Environmental Monitoring: Monitor data center environmental data and respond to alarms to maintain optimal operating conditions.
  • 📅 On-Call Coverage: Provide on-call out-of-hours coverage to respond to critical events and ensure data center uptime.
  • 🔎 Infrared Scanning: Conduct regular infrared scans of electrical infrastructure to identify potential issues and prevent failures.
  • 📈 Capacity Audits: Perform power and cooling capacity audits to ensure data center infrastructure can support current and future workloads.
  • 🤝 Team Collaboration: Support local data center operations teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data center operations.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience (2-5 years) in operating and maintaining electrical and/or power electronic systems, with a strong focus on data center environments.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of data center power and cooling critical systems and their troubleshooting.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining electrical and/or power electronic systems.
